Frequently Asked Questions
How do I save from WhatsApp or iMessage?
Select the text you want to save, tap the Share button, and choose Nabbit from the share sheet. Nabbit will automatically detect the type of information (address, phone number, date, etc.) and save it for you.
How do I search with Siri?
Say "Hey Siri, search Nabbit for [your search term]" — for example, "Hey Siri, search Nabbit for WiFi password." Nabbit will open directly to the search results. The more you search, the better Siri gets at suggesting Nabbit.
How do I delete my data?
To delete a single item, swipe left on it in the library and tap Delete. To delete everything at once, go to Settings > Data > Delete all data. Since all data is stored locally on your device, deleting it removes it permanently — there is no cloud backup.
Is my data private?
Yes. All your saved items are stored locally on your iPhone and never uploaded to any server. Nabbit does not have user accounts, cloud storage, or analytics. Read our Privacy Policy for full details.
I don't see Nabbit in the Share Sheet — how do I enable it?
Open any app (like Messages), tap Share, scroll the app row all the way to the right and tap More. Find Nabbit in the list and toggle it on. You can also drag it to the top so it appears first.
How do I add the Siri shortcut?
Siri integration is automatic. After saving your first item, just say "Hey Siri, search Nabbit for [search term]". No setup required. Siri needs iOS 16 or later.
What's free and what requires Pro?
The free plan includes every feature — search, Siri, Share Extension, custom categories, Nabbit Cards — with a limit of 30 saved items. Pro removes the limit (39 kr/month or 348 kr/year). There is no time-limited trial; the free plan is the permanent trial.
How do I cancel my Pro subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Go to iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Nabbit and tap Cancel. You keep Pro features until the end of the paid period. Refunds are handled by Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com.
I got a new iPhone — will my items transfer?
Only via an iCloud or encrypted iTunes/Finder backup. Nabbit has no cloud sync, so restoring from a backup is the only way to bring your saved items to a new device. If you set up the new iPhone as new, items from the old device will not appear.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Open Nabbit → Settings → Export Data. You'll get a file with every saved item in a machine-readable format — useful for backups or moving to another device manually.
Nabbit picked the wrong category — can I change it?
Yes. Open the item, tap Edit, and choose the correct category (or create a custom one). Nabbit's on-device classifier is fast but not perfect — your correction is saved with the item and used in search.
How long does a Nabbit Card link last?
Shared Nabbit Card links expire automatically after 30 days for privacy. The original item stays in your library — only the public link stops working. You can always generate a new link from the same item.
Does Nabbit work offline?
Yes. Saving, searching, Siri search, and opening items all work offline — everything runs on your device. An internet connection is only needed for two features: generating a shareable Nabbit Card link, and the "Today" tab's AI summary.
Does Nabbit work on iPad or Mac?
Currently iPhone only. iPad support may come in a future update. There is no Mac app.
How do I change the app's language?
Nabbit follows your iPhone's system language automatically. To switch, go to iOS Settings → General → Language & Region and change your preferred language. Nabbit currently supports English and Swedish.
